Tom Kussurelis

Tom Kussurelis is president of Arrowhead Programs, where he leads one of the industry’s largest portfolios of specialty insurance program business worldwide. He also serves as senior vice president (SVP) and member of the senior leadership team of Brown & Brown, Inc.

In his roles, Tom focuses on advancing program capabilities, supporting innovation and delivering strong outcomes for carriers, producers and policyholders.

He joined Brown & Brown in 2015, bringing more than 30 years of experience across underwriting, distribution and program management. Since joining, he has held senior leadership roles within Arrowhead Programs, most recently serving as COO, and has been part of the Brown & Brown senior leadership team since 2022.

Before joining Brown & Brown, Tom served as chief underwriting officer at CorePointe Insurance Company, where he was part of the leadership team during the company’s rebuild through its sale and transition to new ownership under AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. Earlier in his career, he held underwriting and sales roles at Universal Underwriters Group, a Zurich company, building deep expertise in specialty and auto dealership-focused insurance products.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University and maintains CPCU, CLU and AAI designations.
