Mark Kaufman

Mark Kaufman serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Actuary for Arrowhead Programs, where he leads the Actuarial, Data Science and Catastrophe Modeling teams supporting one of the largest and most diversified program portfolios in the specialty insurance market. In this role, he is responsible for advancing the analytical capabilities that help Arrowhead build, manage and grow high-performing specialty insurance programs through disciplined pricing, predictive analytics, portfolio insights and risk modeling.

Kaufman joined Arrowhead Programs in 2023 and brings more than 30 years of insurance industry experience, including senior actuarial, pricing and finance leadership roles with national insurance carriers. Throughout his career, he has led teams focused on improving underwriting performance, developing advanced pricing models, enhancing portfolio management capabilities and leveraging data-driven insights to support profitable growth.

Prior to joining Arrowhead, Kaufman held executive leadership roles at Nationwide, QBE North America and CNA Financial, where he oversaw actuarial, pricing and analytical functions across a broad range of commercial and specialty insurance businesses. His experience spans specialty lines, commercial property and casualty, professional liability, programs and other complex insurance markets.

Kaufman earned an MBA in Analytic Finance and Strategic Management from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics from Eastern Michigan University.
